Direct Service Tribes 5th Annual Meeting The fifth National meeting focused on concerns identified by the Tribal Leaders and the Direct Service Tribes Advisory Committee. In partnership between Tribal Leaders and the IHS, attendees discussed the health issues that impact Indian people served directly by the federally operated health system. Agenda Topics and Breakout Sessions included Chronic Care Initiative, Contract Health Services 101, Office of Resource Access & Partnerships Update, Facilities Update, 638 Issues, Tribal Shares and Residuals, Resource Allocation Methodology and more.
